What Is This All About?

Void Galactica is an AI experiment wearing the skin of a space RTS. One person, a crew of AI agents, and an honest question: what the heck am I doing?

This is something I always wanted to do but never had the courage to start, or rather never had enough brain cells to learn coding well enough to make it real. Now that coding is solved by AI and making assets is easier and faster than ever, well... I have no more excuses.

Everything past that is learning out loud. Godot engine, AI pipeline, art directing the AI agents, and a whole lot of mistakes and happy accidents.

And fun. The fun of making my first game, the fun of creating and designing a retro UI, and of giving life to an immersive story. Green phosphor, a radar map, and a whole lot of space to explore.

Under all of it there is still a real-time strategy game: a fleet to manage, a dark map, probes to chart it, outposts to hold it. No pause, no turn queue. The void keeps moving whether you are ready or not.

Opening Transmission

Proof of concept — not a trailer, just the thing running.

Command Systems

Core ideas - those can change and evolve.

SYS.01 // TACTICS

Real-Time Fleet Command

No pause button, no turn queue. Formations, flanking, and fuel lines decided while the fight is happening. Orders are cheap. Good orders win sectors.

SYS.02 // EXPLORATION

A Map That Earns Its Fog

Nothing is revealed for free. Every sector is charted by a probe you built, a scout you risked, or a wreck you salvaged. Every one of them burns fuel to get there, and a scout that runs the tank dry is a contact you stop hearing from.

SYS.03 // PHYSICS

Gravity Does The Steering

Stars and planets pull on everything that moves. Cut a course too close and the well eats your fuel; read it right and a slingshot around a gas giant carries a fleet across a sector for nothing. The cheapest route is rarely the straight one.

SYS.04 // GALAXY

A Void That Remembers

Squadrons you scatter regroup elsewhere. Outposts you supply send convoys back. Every sector holds a grudge or owes you a favor. The map is a living scoreboard.

SYS.05 // PRESENTATION

Green Phosphor, All The Way Down

The whole game is a radar scope: scanlines, burn-in, curvature, and a cursor that blinks like firmware. Every screen has to look at home in an ops room from 1984, and if it doesn't, it gets redesigned. This is the part I enjoy most — the feel of the thing matters as much to me as the systems under it, and I will happily lose a night to getting one cursor right.

SYS.06 // METHOD

Built With AI, On Purpose

I have no coding experience. None. This game would not exist without AI, and for now I lean on it for most of what I cannot do myself — I direct, it builds, and I learn on the way. No pretending otherwise: every asset it made is listed on the asset ledger.
